Multi-Vehicle Crash on SR 390 Leaves 4 Injured, 2 Children in Critical Condition

Bay Co., FL – Multi-Vehicle Crash on SR 390 Leaves 4 Injured, 2 Children in Critical Condition

Bay County, FL (November 3, 2025) – Several people, including two children, were seriously injured on October 31 following a multi-vehicle crash on State Road 390, just west of Airport Drive in Bay County.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a silver SUV driven by a 47-year-old Panama City Beach resident was heading east on State Road 390 when it suddenly crossed the left-turn lane and the center median, entering the oncoming traffic lane. At that moment, a gray van driven by an 18-year-old from Lynn Haven was traveling west on State Road 390 in the inside lane. The front of the SUV collided with the right front of the van, causing significant damage to both vehicles and blocking all westbound lanes.

Emergency crews quickly arrived and transported all four occupants of the silver SUV—including two children, ages 5 and 9—to Bay Medical Sacred Heart. Authorities confirmed that the two adults sustained serious injuries, while both children are in critical condition. The teen driver of the gray van was also taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers remained at the scene for several hours, redirecting traffic and investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the collision.

Our thoughts are with the injured individuals, and we hope the children make a full and swift recovery.

Auto Accidents in the Florida Panhandle

In many cases, drivers lose control of their vehicles due to distraction, speeding, fatigue, or sudden medical emergencies.

Victims of auto accidents can experience severe and life-changing injuries, including:

  • Traumatic brain injuries (TBI) caused by head impact.
  • Spinal cord injuries, which may result in partial or complete paralysis.
  • Broken bones and fractures, often requiring surgery and long-term rehabilitation.
  • Internal bleeding or organ damage from the force of impact.
  • Emotional trauma, particularly when children are involved in serious crashes
