Look Twice Save A Life

This is a common reminder we hear to increase motorcycle awareness and safety. Over this past week/weekend in Panama City Beach we were host to the annual Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally. Unfortunately, two serious crashes occurred involving motorcycle riders and cars. The first one occurred at the intersection of Clara Avenue and Middle Beach Road. According to www.WJHG.com two people were seriously injured when a motorists failed to stop at a stop sign.

Also according to www.WJHG.com, in a second crash, that occurred on Back Beach Road and Vestavia, it appears that a motorists turned left in front of motorcycle rider. Unfortunately, this crash resulted in the death of the motorcycle driver.

This article is not to point the finger at anyone. Cases and who is at fault are not determined by blogs or news reports. Unfortunately, lives have been forever changed and for that reason the worthwhile reminder “Look Twice Save A Life” remains very important. Let’s all do our part to keep Florida’s roads as safe as possible for all of our guests and ourselves. Take care and God Bless!
