Molino, FL – Fatal Pickup and Semi-Truck Collision at Hwy 29 & Hwy 196

Molino, FL (September 29, 2025) – A deadly crash in Molino on Sunday morning, September 28, claimed the life of a 35-year-old Pensacola man.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 2:25 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 196. Investigators reported that the Pensacola man drove eastbound on Highway 196 when his pick-up truck entered the path of a southbound semi-truck traveling along Highway 29.

The impact caused severe damage. Emergency crews transported the pickup driver to Sacred Heart Hospital. Sadly, he was later pronounced deceased. Authorities confirmed that the semi-truck driver, a 54-year-old man from Pensacola, also sustained injuries.

Troopers closed the area for several hours while they investigated the crash and worked to clear the roadway.

The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
