Gadsden Co., FL – Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Co. Rd 159

Gadsden County, FL (September 2, 2025) – A 35-year-old woman tragically lost her life Tuesday morning, September 2, after being struck by an SUV in Gadsden County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the deadly accident happened around 6:15 a.m. on County Road 159, also known as Salem Road. Troopers said the woman entered the roadway when a 41-year-old man driving an SUV hit her.

Emergency crews with Gadsden County EMS and the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office responded quickly to the scene. Despite their efforts, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the site of the crash.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.

The crash remains under investigation as FHP works to determine the circumstances that led to the collision.
