Escambia County, FL (September 11, 2025) – Two individuals sustained minor injuries after a truck driver ran a red light and collided with an SUV in Escambia County early Wednesday morning, September 10. The crash took place around 5:40 a.m. at the intersection of West Airport Boulevard and County Road 95A.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the truck driver was traveling south on County Road 95A when he disregarded the red light. He crashed into the driver’s side of the SUV, which was traveling east on West Airport Boulevard in the inside lane.
Both drivers were taken to Baptist Hospital with minor injuries. The truck driver was issued a ticket for running the red light.
