Escambia County, FL – 2 Injured in Crash at Olive Rd & Hilburn Rd
Escambia County, FL (November 25, 2025) – Two Pensacola men went to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Monday, November 24, in Escambia County. The collision happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of East Olive Road and North Hilburn Road.
Officials said a 47-year-old man drove a Chrysler van and tried to turn left onto Olive Road. He did not stop before turning. His van then struck a Chevy sport utility vehicle traveling through the intersection. A 32-year-old man drove the Chevy.
The impact trapped one person inside a vehicle. Rescue crews arrived fast and pulled that person out. Escambia County Fire Rescue and emergency medical teams treated both drivers at the scene. They then took both men to Sacred Heart Hospital. Doctors listed their injuries as non-life-threathening, but the crash still caused enough harm to require medical care.
Investigators continue to review the events leading up to the crash.
Our thoughts are with both injured men, and we hope they recover fully as the investigation moves forward.
Auto Accidents in Escambia County
Crashes at busy crossings show how quickly a simple mistake can hurt people. In Escambia County, many roads combine local traffic with faster drivers heading to work, school, or nearby highways. That mix makes left-turn collisions common. When a driver misjudges speed or fails to stop, the results can be serious in seconds.
Even non-life-threathening injuries can create major stress. People often deal with neck strain, back pain, bruising, or headaches days after the crash. Some need follow-up visits, physical therapy, or time off work. Auto accidents also bring money worries, especially when medical bills arrive before insurance issues get sorted out.
If you get hurt in a crash, taking smart steps early can protect your health and your case:
- Get checked by a doctor right away, even if you feel okay.
- Save every bill, note, and record related to your injury.
- Take photos of the vehicles and the scene if you can do so safely.
- Speak carefully with insurance companies and avoid guessing fault.
An Escambia County personal injury lawyer can help when the cause of the wreck is disputed or when insurers push back. A lawyer can gather reports, interview witnesses, and calculate the full cost of your injuries, including future care. That support matters in multi-vehicle cases, where fault can get complicated.
