Pensacola, FL – Man Killed in Shop Fire at on Cervantes St & J St

Pensacola, FL (December 17, 20254) – A man was found dead following an early morning fire Wednesday, December 17, at an abandoned paint and body shop in Pensacola. The incident occurred at the former Jones Paint and Body shop, located near the intersection of Cervantes Street and J Street.

Just before 4:00 in the morning a Pensacola Police Department officer noticed the building fully engulfed in flames while conducting a routine patrol. The officer immediately alerted the fire department, prompting a rapid emergency response.
