Pensacola, FL - 2 Seriously Injured in Crash on US 29 at Neal Rd

Pensacola, FL (December 1, 2025) - A late-night traffic crash in Pensacola left two people seriously injured and caused a tragic loss for a pregnant woman and her family on Sunday morning. The Florida Highway Patrol said the wreck happened around 1 a.m. on November 30 on U.S. Highway 29 near Neal Road.

Troopers said a black Ford F-150 pickup traveled north on U.S. Highway 29 as it approached Neal Road. At the same time, a white GMC Sierra traveled south toward the same area. Police reported that a seventeen-year-old driver of a white pickup tried to make a left turn from U.S. Highway 29 onto Neal Road. That turn led to a collision with the other vehicles.

Emergency crews arrived quickly and took all occupants to local hospitals. Officials said a twenty-one-year-old woman from Cantonment suffered serious injuries. A seventeen-year-old male from Molino also sustained serious injuries.

Troopers stated that the young woman was pregnant and lost her child because of the crash. Her twenty-one-year-old male passenger from Texas suffered minor injuries and also received medical care.

Police have not released the names of those involved. Investigators are still working to determine the full cause of this collision.

Our hearts are with the injured victims and with the family grieving the loss of a child.

Auto Accidents in Escambia County

Serious auto crashes remain a major concern in Escambia County across the Florida Panhandle, especially on highways like U.S. Highway 29. This roadway carries fast-moving traffic at all hours, and drivers often meet complex turning points near side roads.

Left turns across traffic rank among the most dangerous actions on busy highways. A driver may misjudge speed, distance, or gaps in traffic, and a crash can happen in seconds. Nighttime driving adds more risk because visibility drops and fatigue grows.

When a collision causes severe injuries or the death of a loved one, families face a heavy mix of grief, stress, and financial pressure. Hospital care, time away from work, and long recovery periods can change daily life quickly.

Compensation in a serious injury case may include medical costs, future treatment, and rehabilitation. Families may also seek help with lost income, reduced earning ability, and the pain and suffering tied to life-changing harm.

These claims depend on clear evidence, so early action can matter. Police reports, witness statements, medical records, and crash reconstruction findings often play a key role.
