Panama City, FL - Woman in Wheelchair Killed in DUI Crash on Beach Dr

Panama City, FL (May 20, 2025) – A crash in downtown Panama City claimed the life of a woman on Monday morning, May 19, after she was struck by a pickup truck while in her wheelchair. The deadly collision happened at the intersection of Beach Drive and Harrison Avenue, prompting a swift emergency response.

Authorities say the woman was initially transported to a local hospital with serious injuries following the crash. Sadly, officials later confirmed that she passed away due to the severity of her wounds. The driver of the truck, 54-year-old Clyton Ray Davis, has been charged with DUI manslaughter.
