Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Jackson County on Monday afternoon, July 22th.

At around 3:15 p.m., a collision between vehicles blocked multiple lanes of Interstate 10. The firefighters and Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene and closed off several lanes of the roadway near Exit 142 at Florida State Route 71. Authorities worked to remove the involved vehicles from the left lane and to reopen the roadway.
